Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use ComputeMint ("we", "us"), a student-run GPU compute service based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who can use ComputeMint

ComputeMint is for students with a valid @rvce.edu.in email address, which you must verify. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account.

2. What we provide

Time on a GPU (NVIDIA RTX 5090) to run approved workload types in an isolated container, with limits on run time, memory, CPU, storage and output size. There's no internet access from jobs and no shell access. The GPU is in a personal machine, so the service is provided on a best-effort basis: it may be paused, limited or unavailable at times, for example during maintenance or when the owner needs the machine.

3. ComputeMint Credits

• Services are paid for with ComputeMint Credits (1 credit = ₹1). ComputeMint Credits are a prepaid balance for ComputeMint's GPU compute service only.
• Credits can be used only on ComputeMint. They can't be transferred to another person or account, and they can't be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
• Credits don't expire.
• During early testing, credits are given through single-use invite codes. Credits bought through our payment partner will be covered by the same rules once purchasing is available.

4. Charges

Prices are shown on the pricing page and before you confirm a job. Standard-queue jobs are charged per started minute of actual run time (15-minute minimum). Reserved slots are charged for the booked slot. The rules for when you aren't charged, and for cancellations, are on the refunds & cancellation page.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to your files and results. You give us permission only to store and process them to run your job and deliver the results. You must have the right to use everything you upload. Inputs are deleted when a job ends, and results are deleted 72 hours after it ends (see the privacy notice).

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the acceptable use policy. If you break it, we may stop your jobs and suspend or close your account.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every job will succeed. Keep your own copies of important files, and download your results before they expire. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the value of the credits you used for the job concerned.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and prices, and the date above will change when we do. A price that was shown when you confirmed a job applies to that job. You can stop using ComputeMint at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
